Razz spent his last night on a treasure hunt at his Nana's house. He so loved diving between the cushions of her couch in search of any little tidbit that might have slipped down there. He was having a "good day"... it was very difficult knowing I'd be saying goodbye just a few hours later.
He found his "treasure"... which I let him keep this time.
And just look at those butt dimples!!
After our visit at Nana's Razzie bounded up the stairs and waited for me at the back door. Once inside he settled himself on the couch for a nap.
A special treat for Razzie's last day... riding in the van, window open, ears flying in the wind. He was such a happy boy as we started out.
He seemed to be daydreaming...
As we neared our destination my boy began to stress...
I asked Mom to take just one more picture of me and my Razzie. My little angel is no longer in pain. I've no doubt he's on my Dad's lap barking orders at all the other angels in Heaven!
Heaven has welcomed a precious little angel, my little Razzie Pie-boy. My sweet boy's tenacious spirit will forever be etched in my heart.
Peace and love to you, my sweet boy.
Razzie... my little pie-boy love.
Perhaps they are not the stars,
but rather openings in heaven
where the love of our lost ones
pours through and shines down upon us
to let us know they are happy.
